Employment Opportunities:
Valbridge Property Advisors/Northern California has an immediate opening for an Appraisal Analyst/Appraiser Trainee in our Sacramento office. The Analyst position provides an excellent opportunity for experience and potential advancement within the commercial appraisal industry.
The Analyst will assist licensed commercial appraisers in the appraisal process including gathering and organizing market data, writing narrative appraisal reports, and preparing exhibits such as site plans and maps. Analyst has a unique opportunity to be mentored on the job and to develop relationships with local real estate professionals as they work toward developing their appraisal career.
Applicants must be detail-oriented, analytical, and extremely organized. The position requires excellent communication skills, above average math and writing skills, a professional demeanor, good telephone etiquette, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong computer skills are a must.
This position is full-time and does not require an appraiser’s license; however, a trainee license or a residential license is preferred. The right candidate will be highly motivated to succeed in the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal field and will be required to eventually obtain a State of California, Commercial Real Estate Appraisal License.

Commercial Appraisers Valbridge | Northern California is accepting applications for commercial appraisers at our four Northern California offces (San Jose, San Ramon, Modesto and Sacramento).
Senior Appraiser: A minimum five years (ten years preferred) of full-time commercial experience needed. Strong preference for appraiser with experience in valuing open space, residential land, wetlands, eminent domain and litigation. Must have a four-year degree, Certified General license and be highly motivated to progress in the profession and appraise unusual properties.
Associate Appraiser: Each candidate’s credentials will be considered based on their experience, education and knowledge base. A minimum of two-years of full-time commercial experience is preferred. Real Estate Appraiser, Senior – Commercial

The Real Estate Appraiser, Senior position is responsible for appraising 5+ unit multi-family residential and/or commercial properties to estimate market value for federally related financial transactions in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act (FIRREA), the Interagency Guidelines as well as the firm’s internal guidelines and quality assurance standards. Strong analytical, writing and oral communication skills are required. Minimum requirements include: 1) 4 year college degree; 2) State Certified General Appraiser License; and 3) minimum of 3 years’ experience appraising multi-family residential or commercial properties. Significant experience appraising for financial institutions is preferred.

Requirements
We are seeking a driven, motivated Certified General Appraiser capable of completing high-quality commercial real estate valuation and consulting assignments in a timely manner. Candidate must hold a Certified General License or be near completion of obtaining licensure. Additional requirements are:

- Certified General Appraiser license
