Supporting the Chapter Through Service

Committees formed the backbone of the Sacramento Sierra Chapter's operations, bringing together member volunteers to advance the chapter's mission and serve the interests of appraisal professionals throughout the region.

Government Relations Committee

The Government Relations Committee was an active and vital part of the chapter. It monitored legislative and regulatory developments affecting the appraisal profession, kept members informed through the chapter newsletter, and advocated on behalf of the appraisal community at the state and local levels.

Committee Involvement

Chapter committees provided members with opportunities to contribute their expertise, build leadership skills, and shape the direction of the organization. Committee service was open to chapter members and offered a meaningful way to engage with colleagues across the Sacramento and Sierra regions.

Committee updates and reports were regularly featured in the chapter newsletter, keeping the broader membership informed of ongoing initiatives and accomplishments.

Beyond the Government Relations Committee, the chapter offers a range of volunteer opportunities designed to engage members at every stage of their careers, from newly designated appraisers to seasoned professionals. Serving on a committee provides a meaningful way to give back to the profession while building relationships with colleagues across Northern California. Committee members help shape educational programming, support community outreach, and contribute to the chapter's advocacy efforts, all while earning valuable leadership experience. Whether your passion lies in event planning, communications, or professional development, there is a place for your talents within the chapter's volunteer structure, and every contribution strengthens the appraisal community as a whole.
